Christian Nuehlen is the founder and CEO of Aircraft Finance Germany (AFG), a globally active firm he launched in 2017 to meet the complex financial needs of airlines, lessors, banks, and aviation manufacturers. Headquartered in Frankfurt, AFG reflects Christian's passion for strategic aircraft investments, legal expertise, and commitment to client-driven solutions.
Christian brings over 20 years of diverse industry experience. He began his career in aviation law with Aero Lloyd German Airlines and U.S.-based mba Aviation, where he developed a deep understanding of aircraft valuation and strategic investment. As general counsel and a board member of XL Airways Germany, he gained firsthand experience in airline operations, eventually leading him to create his own aviation consulting firm, Blueberry Xpress, with offices in both Germany and Singapore.
With a law degree from the University of Münster and an MBA from Providence College, Christian combines legal rigor with business acumen. He is a guest lecturer at Frankfurt University of Applied Sciences, a published author in trade journals, and an active member of ISTAT and the German-American Lawyers Association.
Today, Christian lives near Frankfurt with his wife and two daughters and continues to lead with vision, adaptability, and a relentless focus on global opportunity in aviation finance.
